Fun to watch

Dark Phoenix Review

This movie is very slow pace for a less than 2 hour movie
Frankly, I start dozing off in the middle of the movie
The love between Cyclops & Jean is merely shown
Magneto & Charles are underutilized too
Storm is expendable

But the finale & the OST save the movie
The X-Men is doing at what they do best in the finale
Showing off those mutant power
The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is good as ever

You will not feel bored along the movie
It moving along a spanning pace
You will unconsciously cheers for Godzilla
Although you not knowing why Godzilla exist

You definitely need to watch it
Highly recommend on IMAX screen

I was a little disturbed by Will Smith's Genie

But i can assured you he done a great job in the movie

You ain't never had a Genie like Will Smith

Watching this movie makes me feel nostalgic

Yet it's feel fresh too

You will not feel bored

The musical is fabulous

I listen to the playlist again & again

Pokémon Detective Pikachu Review

I first knew Pokémon through the anime 20+ years ago
That time we used to rent tape at those video rental shop
It was Cantonese dubbed
Good old times

And then Pokémon Red/Blue came out on Gameboy
That is what the reason to buy a Gameboy that time
All the kids in the neighborhood are playing it
Using a special kind of link cable to trade or battle between each other

As first live action Pokémon movie
Detective Pikachu not bad at all
The real life CGI of the Pokémons are pretty good
Pikachu fight scene pretty good too
But the story a bit weak
Pikachu is a bit too talkative(Deadpool Style)

All in all

If you same as me

Pokémon is a part of your childhood

The movie will not so disappoint

This time we try the Cornetto Unicornetto

But it is a big DISAPPOINTMENT 

It taste like medicine 

Nothing like marshmallow or cotton candy

This Cornetto maybe good for Insta pics

but failed as Cornetto ice cream

So my cousin order his favourite

Roasted Chicken with Homemade Percik Sauce + Cross Trax Rm15.90

The roasted chicken is surprisingly good, the meat is very tender

And the Percik sauce is slightly sweet & flavourful

Cross Trax is good too

Howerver the side vege is bland in taste

My fiancee recently get influenced by those Instagram influencers(网红)

They all promoting and sharing this new ice cream from Nestlé

 La Cremeria Summer Berries Yogurt

So she bought it at RM3.65 while buying groceries at 99 speedmart the other day

And give me as surprise after dinner dessert that night

With giving it a doubtful thought at first

As i not really fond at berries flavour ice cream

But it really surprise my taste bud

It is perfect combination of chocolate coating with berries taste

The chocolate coating is full of bold cocoa taste

Which totally matched and improve the taste of berries

Plus it won't melt like usual ice cream stick

Maybe bcoz it is a yogurt ice cream

It really taste good and i gave it a score 10/10

Avengers: Endgame Review

Finally after 11 years since first Iron Man movie came out, MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe) come to an end. I think most of the earthlings have watched all 22 MCU movies like me. Few of the it quite disappoint but most of the it delivered well, and some of it are best of the best.

As the finale of the MCU movies, Endgame did it job well for MCU's fans, closing it's characters nicely. For those not following the MCU will feel the pace quite slow and may not feel more immersive with the characters emotion than what the fans felt.

Rating: 9/10

Definitely the BEST movie i saw in 2018, wasn't expect too much before watching it becoz i think it will be like another animation movie, but i am wrong, this definitely OUT OF THE WORLD
