It's already been a month

It's already been a month that i started working as a programmer, a printing programmer, but, i actually interviewed for web programmer. It is a printing press, doing all printing things for other companies. What i do is use a printing software called PReS to make printing script for printer to print what i need, it's function and coding is similar to Java.

At the first week, i just sitting in my seat and surf the internet, ya, this is the only things i do. But on the second week, i start to know how this company operate things, and also start learning PReS. It is similar to Java coding, so it is easy to pickup for me. I finally got my first job at the third week, quite excited, all i do is modified the codes given by my senior to what customer needs. As for now, i have done totally 3 jobs, i kept all my jobs code for my reference at future.

So, for the first month, i have learned many new things about printing, it is quite valuable experience for now, maybe it will get bored for next few months, but it is quite a good start for my job experience, i think.

The story started at two months ago, i have bought a new laptop, Dell Studio XPS 16.

I felt in love with it by the first glance on it when unboxing, i love it's sexy, uncompromising attention to detail and subtle sophistication design.
It came with Windows Vista installed, as i am a XP user that time, i kinda headache using it, it got many different with his brother, XP. I have used couple days to defeat this boss, Vista, but about a month later, i upgraded it to big brother, Windows 7 that who wouldn't want to upgrade from Vista. About Windows 7, it is just an upgrade version of Vista, but i defeat Vista before, so this one is an easy one. For those who still can't defeat it, you can get Lifehacker Complete Guide to Windows 7 from here.
As a gamer, i installed couple DirectX10 games like Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4, Mass Effect into it(i haven't played with DirectX10 before), but before that, i need to update all the drivers first, which mostly important is the graphic drivers!!! ATi is such an ~~asshole~~ irresponsible company, it didn't update any of it's mobility graphic card. So i need to mod ATi desktop drivers with ATI MobilityModder in order to use it that can download from here. Hey, it got instructions there too!
Finally, all things have updated and installed, i started my gaming journey. But only half an hour later, SXPS 16's palm rest area is hot like hell, i quickly shut down the game and find what the problem with it! OMG, is the ventilation being blocked by the monitor when the monitor is open up. After google this and that, seems like all SXPS users has the same problem here, this is the first time i disappointed by SXPS 16, why?WHY? To solve this problem, i have to buy a notebook cooler, at the end, i have bought Cooler Master NotePal Color Infinite. It works good but i am a little bit regret, a lots of forumers said that Zalman ZM-NC2000 is the most suitable for SXPS 16. I can now play my games comfortably in air-conditioned room...

Yesterday, i found a way to cooldown my SXPS 16, i tried and it's work GREAT! I will post it after i run few more tests.

MGS4: Guns of the Patriots FINISHED!!!

I finally started and finished Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots this week! For PS3 games that i have played, this is absolutely the best one, other than that is GTA4. I have been MGS fans for many years since i played the MGS on PSone, it's a really great series, not disappointed after one another. I recommend this game to all PS3 owners out there and definitely, the ratings is 10/10!

After the first Transformers movie on 2007, i become a fan of it. I also have bought the blu-ray version of it last week but just received and watched it yesterday, it is awesome!!! Really recommended to blu-ray movie collecter!

Today, i went to watched Revenge of the Fallen, few malay guys are very annoying in the cinema, they shout like monkeys when the transformers ads, optimus prime, megan fox, and other things show up, the black guy sit besides me is really piss off...

Revenge of the Fallen is good, very good, it has more actions, more defined relationship between Megatron and Starscream, armored Optimus Prime, and sexy Fox. Well, it is more focuses on Optimus Prime, makes other Autobots like cameo except Bumblebee with little actions and humorous; Arcee the only female autobot no speaking and no personality at all like taking order bots; the twin autobots are a little annoying, didn't like them...

I heard that IMAX version is more exciting on America, don't know that Malaysia Timesquare IMAX have same version or not...

I'll give 9/10 for Revenge of the Fallen as i gave 10/10 for the first episode blu-ray.

The Sims 3 Ambrosia

I currently playing the sims 3, is a quite addictive game, a game that controlling the sim that you have created with the traits you chose in the sims world. Ambrosia is a food in the game that can revive your ghost sims and make your sims aging reset(the aging process back to left).

How to get Ambrosia?

First, you have to buy the recipe at bookstore for 12000 simoleons, you also need cooking lv 10 to learn it.

Then, you need the ingredients to cook Ambrosia, that is Life Fruit and DeathFish.

Life Fruit: You need at least gardening lv 7 and special seeds to plant this, special seeds can be found around science facility, lifetime rewards Collector Helper can make you easier to find the special seeds.

DeathFish: You can fish this at the Graveyard after 12 a.m., with or without bait if your fishing lv is high enough, but using Angelfish as a bait is easier to fish it.

At last, with Life Fruit and DeathFish, and Ambrosia recipe learnt, you can now cook Ambrosia for your sims. It also give +75 moods for 7 days to your sims.

CAn't Sleep

Now, 2 something at the night, i roll and roll at my bed for hours, and i still can't sleep, why?

A girl's images keep popping up in my mind, my heart is pumping fast, like a unlimited loop in programming till the program close, mean it will stop only if i am asleep...

Who the girl is this? I have no idea who she is, what her name, where she live... I just know i saw her just 1 time in my life while i eating lunch at Cheras this afternoon, she is in a black shirt sitting with two friends eating 板面 there in opposite of my table, at the last part, she wear an eye glasses, that makes her look more adorable, and still she left with her friends, and I still sitting with my friends, so disappointed that i don't even have a courage to ask for her number. Now, it just can be a memory for a moment, probably will forget it in couple days or weeks.

Damn, I hate myself being so shy... LOL

我很久没有写华文了，但因为北京奥运，我在此就写华文了（很废吧？）

北京奥运的开幕典礼很棒（虽然看到打瞌睡了），表演多姿多彩，还有烟火简直太棒啦！！！

另外，中国选手还真多，差不多占了鸟巢跑道的一半呢，不知今年能赢得多少金牌?

Hi, I'm back!

As title, i has bought a new handphone for myself, although it is 2nd hand, but it's still seems new for me. About 2 months ago, my old phone, SE(Sony Ericsson) W710i lost in Mid Valley California Fitness(a gym), so if anyone find a similar phone in this gym, give me a message or email. My new phone, SE W910i in black, has a lot function that my last phone don't have, it has 3G(still haven't familiar with it...), shake control that can change to next track while playing music with a shake on the phone, SensMe™(can create a playlist based on our mood), screen splendor(able to rotate the screen vertical or horizontal), and A+B control keys(give us more gaming feel). Oh man, I love this phone!!!

For the first few days, i download plenty songs, themes and games into this phone, while i searching for the themes, i found out that my phone can use "Shake Theme", with this kind of theme, the theme wallpaper change automatically when you shake the phone, it is also compatible with SE K850i, C902, W980 and W760 too.

Heroes Season 3

I have been chasing this series for 2 season, although season 2 has make me a little bit disappointed, i will definitely watch season 3 as well, coz the trailer is kinda interesting, new heroes and new villains. Now enjoy the trailer!

Never Back Down

I watched this movie last night, i think it is a quite good movie to be watched, and i want to recommend to you all although it's IMDB rating is 5.6, quite low in rating, but i give it 8/10 rating for my own as i give The Dark Knight 9/10 rating.

P.S. : This movie is not shown at Malaysia cinema, so if you want to watch it, buy it or something else(you know how).

Hellboy 2, Wanted, The Dark Knight & Hancock

This 2 weeks, i have watched these 4 movies in cinema. The one i like most is The Dark Knight, impressive Joker & batmobile! But 2 & half hours is too long. The second i will take Wanted, crazy shooting & driving skill with wonderful sound effect in the cinema. Next is Hancock, a vigilante superhero with reckless action. The last one go to Hellboy 2, frankly, i can't find a topic about this movie to talk with my friends after watched this film except the scene that two creatures drink birs and sing love song together.

p.s. : There is only a few of people watch movie on K.L. Pavilion at noon, i think, coz i watch The Dark Knight at the first showing day and Hancock yesterday, just about 10++ people inside the cinema, quite comfortable inside with large seats space between rows & rows.

Old PC full of virus!!!

The old pc, my first pc i have, has a lot of virus inside when i came back from Bukit Jalil,

can't do anything to save it too, so i have to format it (i want to do it long time ago).

After i format it, i need to find, search, install and update all the drivers back(didn't backup the drivers back then), it takes me few hours there...

Anyway, i have complete done with it now, install new software on it, use free antivirus(AVG Free Edition) and firewall(PC Tools Firewall Plus), not bad at all, but the firewall block way too much of things which is a advantage and disadvantage of it. I also download and install OpenOffice.org instead of microsoft office, why? It is totally free and almost same function as microsoft office!

For music, i have install 千千静听, a chinese music player that can download lyrics for itself.

For movie, i have install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and The KMPlayer to play all kinds of movies format.

Now, my old PC are virus-free and good as new. Shit! I use all of my time to do this, how about my FYP?

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The latest star wars game that will be release at September 16, 2008 on all platforms but 'PC'...
I've been playing few star wars games like Jedi Academy, Knight of The Old Republic and Sith Lord, pretty much fun playing these game using the lightsaber and the forces.

The main character of the game, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, "Starkiller", can took away Darth Vader lightsaber easily when he was a child.

Kinda hope that i got a PS3 soon.

Final Year Project Title Decided!

After few days of thinking, i finally decide what to do on my final year project,
it is "Chinese Chess Game and Tutorial", why chinese chess?
I used to play chinese chess a lot at secondary school, then became vice president of chess society but did nothing at most of the time.

I think i didn't play chinese chess for a very long time, why? Who would want to play chinese chess at college while you can use your laptop.

This is a great chance to remember back my old times at secondary school and study on chinese chess. There is a big challenge for doing this project, that is AI "Artificial Intelligence", i never touched this subject before, i hope i can surpass this challenge! I think i can!

Just starting level 3 in degree now, but have a very pain headache now...

should be thinking of final year project title by level 2, if did so, i won't be so headache for now...

i don't know what i am capable for doing which kind software, worry can't done a good job on it...

draft proposal has to submit at monday, i hope i can think out a very good title by then!
